Location: "Mountain Lodge" is located in Mala Tsarkva village and is only a 20 minute drive from Botovets. So it is close enough to drive to it every day if you want to but by staying in a local village rather than the busy ski resort you can experience the real Bulgaria and mix with the local people in the village who are all very friendly. Only a few people in the village speak English but you have no worries about being understood and made to feel very welcome by everybody you come into contact with. The village has 3 shops selling basic provisions, a post office, a new restaurant and 2 café/ bars all walking distance from the house. One of the highlights of host's daughters holiday is seeing the animals of the village roaming past the house, cows, donkeys, chickens, goats and horses etc, it is quite a site, you won't be disappointed. |
Accomodation: "Mountain Lodge" has 2 double bedrooms both en-suite (one bath, one shower), 2 twin bedrooms, a small childrens room with bunkbeds and a family bathroom. There is an independent entrance upstairs to the fully enclosed large balcony which has fantastic views over the mountains.
Facilities: The chalet has been furnished to a very high standard. All furnishings are brand new – as is the house! All bed linen (duvets) and towels are provided, as well as tea towels in the kitchen. There will be spares of everything in the cupboards in each bedroom if needed. The rental price includes all central heating, electricity costs and logs.

Special children care: The host has 2 young children and understands how hard it is holidaying with children and the amount of things you need to take with you so the house has been furnished for your benefit and everything is available to use for anybody who stays at the house.
Some of these things are: a high chair, travel cot, fitted stair gates, baby monitor, microwave sterilizer, hand blender, baby walker, plastic plates cups and cutlery, bed guard, books, toys, Playstation and DVD's for children of all ages. All electrical sockets have child proof fittings.
