Pachilovska House is part of the "Zlatograd" Ethnographic open-air complex, which is situated in the peaceful town of Zlatograd in the heart of Rhodopa Mountain.
Pachilovska House is a Renaissance style building that can accommodate up to 24 people and grant them modern facilities.
There is a private bathroom for each room, hot water, TV and Internet connection.

The Ethnographic open-air complex is build at the place of the old town, along the right bank of the Big River. The numerous reconstructed buildings in the complex reveal and reflect the geographical characteristics of the region and the thousand-year old history of Zlatograd and the villages around it. The complex consists of many small workshops, were skilled masters produce unique knives, swords, packsaddles. There is a goldsmith's workshop and a tailor's atelier with intersting well-preserved machines and irons.
In each of the workshops there is a special board, presenting different items, connected with the crafts and found duringthe archeological excavations. |

Whenever the tourists get tired from the walk or want to try a good cup of coffee, they can visit the traditional cafe and try coffe prepared on sand, whose taste and aroma is unique. |
There are two mechanas, which serve traditional specialties.
The mechana “Belovidovo” is situated in the first of the "Alexander's houses". It is a two-storey building with garden and well, and a platform for barbeque. Tyhe menu is varied and according to the season. Here tourists can try different local specialties and even hominy.
During the summer nights, the tourists can enjoy the warm weather at the garden, while listening to Rhodopean music and especially to the instrument, which exists only in the Rhodopa Mountain - "kaba bagpipe".

The mechana "Watermill" is another suitable place for recreation and good dinner. The atmosphere is authenic and the specialties served are very tasty. |

The Ethnographic open-air complex has a museum, situated in the second house from the "Alexander's houses". A lady in a national dress welcomes the guests of the museum and shows them the most important items from the collection, representing the life of the people from Zlatograd and the Rhodopa region. Very interseting is the demonstration of the weaving of home yarn. |

The second floor of the museum consists of a spacious saloon and two rooms, representing the traditional bulgarian home from the past. The multifunctional devices shown can be compared to the facilities of the modern home. |
Whenever tourists get tired from the walks in the past, they can go fishing, walking or practice different mountain activities.
