Giovren Village
Giovren Village is a typical mountain village, situated on the steep, rocky Northern slope of the Karst plateau of Trigrad.
West from the village the piqturesque Trigrad River is flowing.
The village is located in the Devin municipality and is 20 kilometers away from the municipal centre. It is situated at 1020 meters above sea level.
Giovren is a nice mountain village, which has preserved its local traditions and handicraft industry.
In Giovren two diary farms are active during summer. In the farms sheep breeding and milk production with special technologies are done.
The local authentic folklore is being proudly populated by the “Light” community centre, which also subsidize a folklore dance ensemble. Each year a football championship with different schools’ teams is organized.
The steep rocks and cliffs in the region are very appropriate for mountaineering. There are also favorable conditions for delta planer tourism. The nearby beautiful caves - "The Yagodinska" cave and "Diavolskoto Garlo" cave contribute for cave- tourism.
The visitors of Giovren are welcome in the village to spend an enjoyable holiday in a village with ancient atmosphere and hospitable people.
