Koprivshtitsa is a museum town, situated close to Topolnitsa River 1060 meters above the se level. It is 110 kilometers from Sofia and 80 kilometers in northwest from Plovdiv.
This is the only town that has completely preserved 250 architectural monuments from the Renaissance period. The houses from this period are with colourful yards, surrounded by stone walls and gates, and the narrow pavements and numerous fountains are additional attractions to the fairy town.
