Project for the Development of Strandzha Mountain will be launched

money.bg, Kremena Krasteva , 09.10.2008

The development of a project for local improvement of “Strandzha” gathered expert mission of foreign and Bulgarian representatives.

Tatiana Rener from Slovenia, Terry O’Reegan from Ireland, experts from the European Council, and Mr. Peter Miladinov – from the Ministry of culture are on a working visit to work over the long term strategy for development of the area.
The project is developed after the regional program of the European Council for cultural and natural inheritance in Southeastern Europe, financed from European funds. The project includes the three municipalities Tsarevo, Malko Tarnovo and Sredets.

“Our goal is to explore documents, plans, strategies, to talk to people from different regions and with the locals. Our conversations are planned to be held as interviews and we will look for information on the vision of the locals for the future of the region. The main idea of the project is to unite the three regions. This project is of great importance, as it is supported by the European Commission”, announced Mr. Petar Miladinov, coordinator of the project.
